Secrets Of A Birch Forest
Landscape Impressionism of a Birch Forest which I have painted quite dark and in a mood that borders on vintage colors. Often I like a more subdued appearance to an artwork, but had I had my way I think this would have been much greener, or brighter green but my client wanted tones to match woodwork and even I must admit that this looked glorious hanging among wood. Classical landscapes often cannot be outdone for a look of sumptuous elegance.

The original painting was done by Ivan Shishkin a master painter I have long admired.
You will find these works in other galleries, but I also believe they deserve a gallery of their own in honor of the master's who taught me by the heritage they left to each of us. Many years ago I purchased the rights to print and/or paint from a select group of past Masters.
