Description
MODEL RELEASED. Laboratory bench analysis in the quality control stages of the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Here, the technician is using a glass pipette to transfer a measured volume of liquid into a flask in the preparation of a standard solution, that is, a solution of accurately-determined concentration. The pipette is filled and emptied using the rubber bulb, a device originally introduced to discourage the dangerous practice of pipetting by mouth.
