Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

My first taste of photography was (seemingly ages ago) while taking an intro to photography course. There we learned the basics of shooting, darkroom development, and print with film. Fantastic capture! I love how the train tracks lead the eye directly to the surfer carrying the surfboard as he crosses the tracks to get to his destination. The haze of the day and the dynamic black and white tones in this picture compliment the main subjects of the photograph. Wonderful work here! L/F
