Description
Automated vial filling machine. Operator in full protective clothing using an automated vial filling machine in a clean room at a medical facility. The empty, sterilised vials will be filled with a vaccine or drug. This is done in a clean room to maintain the sterility of the equipment, and to help reduce the chances of cross-infection between the workers and any vaccines or bacterial cultures being used. The automation also reduces the amount of time the vials need to be handled by humans. This vial filling machine is made by Groninger, who built their first isolation-capable vial filling machine in 1994. Photographed in the UK.
