My work is as much about exploring my surroundings as it is about shooting for art’s sake. My photographs come from wrong turns on the way to the grocery store and from unplanned stops on country highways while my family waits (im)patiently in the car. It is the overlooked knicknack in a store window, the peeling murals on walls somebody once cared about. It is a city beach teeming with bodies and a rural farm an hour away, crowded with cows.
