Pagani Automobili

La Pagani is an Italian car manufacturer, specialized in the production of high performance cars. The house was founded in San Cesario sul Panaro, in Emilia-Romagna, by the Italian-Argentine Horacio Pagani, a great fan of the rider Juan Manuel Fangio. Pagani worked for several years at the Lamborghini, first as a member of the internal staff and later as an external collaborator when in 1988 he founded the Pagani Composite Research, a company that would have made a decisive contribution to the creation of racing cars like the Diablo. But for a long time, Horacio Pagani had in mind to devote himself to the production of a new Gran Turismo, which became the reference point in its market segment. It was in 1988 that the first designs of the future car appeared, the Zonda, which at the time was called Fangio F1, and in 1991 Pagani also created Modena Design, which became a supplier of sports car manufacturers, such as Dallara, Ferrari, Berman , Lange and Renault.
