Mercedes
Mercedes-Benz is a trademark used by various companies over time to distinguish the production of motor vehicles. Its first use dates back to 1926 after the merger of the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (which since 1902 used the name Mercedes for its cars) with the Benz & Cie. And the subsequent creation of the Daimler-Benz group. The brand was owned by Daimler-Benz from 1926 to 1998 and DaimlerChrysler from 1998 to 2007. In 2007, following the disengagement of Daimler from the group born of the union with Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz is the brand of the new Daimler AG together with Maybach, McLaren (until 2009) and Smart. The Mercedes-Benz are famous all over the world as cars easily distinguished from the emblem on the bonnet of the cars, which represents the three-pointed star, hallmark of the Daimler, surrounded by the laurel wreath of the Benz and the words Mercedes-Benz always on the outer crown. Among other things, the name in question had already been used in 1924 for the creation of a first joint sales network between the two companies. The origin of this star comes from a postcard where Gottlieb Daimler had designed a 3-pointed star that represented the ability to use his engine for land, air and sea
